Lindsey Huber, OD

Lindsey E. Huber – is a comprehensive Optometrist new to private practice and to the Indianapolis area. She was born and raised in Bremen, Indiana, a small town located in the north-central portion of the state. She is a graduate of the University of Missouri – St. Louis College of Optometry. She completed specialized clinical rotations in ocular disease at Washington University in St. Louis, in contact lenses at University of Missouri-St. Louis, and in low vision rehabilitation services at the Chicago Lighthouse for the Blind and Visually Impaired. In Optometry school she received honors and awards including:

  • The William Feinbloom Low Vision Award, sponsored by Designs for Living, for excellence in didactic and clinical aspects of low vision care
  • Contact Lens Clinical Award, sponsored by Paragon Vision Sciences, for clinical excellence in the field of contact lenses
  • Deans Honor List (2007-2011)
  • Beta Sigma Kappa Honor Society (2008-2011)

Lindsey received her undergraduate education at Ball State University in Muncie, IN. She graduated summa cum laude with a B.S. in Chemistry and Pre-Medicine. She graduated with departmental honors in Chemistry was also a member of the Ball State Honors College.

She attended Ball State with a full-tuition scholarship from the Eli Lilly Endowment. During her time at Ball State, Lindsey completed chemistry research internships in the Ball State Chemistry Department and also in the medicinal chemistry department of Eli Lilly and Co.

Here at Center for Sight, Dr. Huber will be providing specialized care in the areas of contact lenses and low vision rehabilitation. With low vision rehabilitation, Dr. Huber will be helping patients who have decreased vision due to diseases like macular degeneration and glaucoma – among many others– to function better in their daily lives through the use of the newest technologies and adaptive techniques in low vision care. She prides herself in providing friendly and quality eye care, which focuses on communication, patience, and creativity.

Lindsey currently resides in Noblesville and is engaged to Dr. Adam Huff of Indianapolis, who is a chiropractor at Complete Chiropractic in downtown Noblesville. In her free time she enjoys reading, traveling, and walking her dog, Gus.

Dr. Huber is proud to be joining Center for Sight and the Indianapolis community and looks forward to getting involved in the community and meeting new people inside and outside of the office.
